Scyllbidi Toilets!
6 February 2024Culture on the Double! Second and Sixth Years enjoyed a visit to the RHA Gallery where they got to admire (but not use) a Charybdis-powered toilet seat, amidst loads of John Kindness’s Odyssey-inspired creations. And they ran into one of Odysseus’s long lost companions: Ger Cummiskey!
Our culture vultures also stopped at the National Gallery for the Turner and Zurich Portrait Competition exhibitions, where the Art students were inspired by an old pro and some talented amateurs, and the ‘cool Classics kids’ (+ Hugo) went on a Greco-Roman themed work search!
