Our Transition Years are currently on Work Experience and we miss them dearly. Before they left, they were involved in an especially hectic flurry of activity, not that there is ever a dull moment throughout the year when TY Co-Ordinator Alan Trenier is at the helm. He, and trusty sidekick Mr. O’Neill, have structured a Transition Year that goes from activity to activity with little let-up. Recently the TYs had a visit from Barrister Jack, of Law Ed, who briefed our TYs on the career opportunities in the broad field of the law, as well as giving some practical advice (with some fascinating examples) on how to negotiate the labyrinth of tort… hopefully not advice that the TYs will need anytime soon!
