Top of their Class!
21 March 2024We know we punch above our weight in debating, basketball and hockey and the recent run by our Rugby JCT is certainly pleasing the bookies, but where we really annoy the actuaries (some of them our own alumni) is with our academic results. Recently there was tangible evidence of St. Conleth’s academic prowess on show at Ireland’s two most prestigious universities: Mr. ODulaing had the pleasure of enjoying a few hors d’oeuvres with Lorenzo Rafter, Saoirse Corry and Caoimhe Moore at UCD, who, along with the unpictured Michael Donnelly, David Gilligan, Coleman Hegarty and Ignacio Sadofschi, were awarded Entrance Scholarships for their stellar 2023 LC results. And Mr. Latvis joined the toast to Will Mason, a ‘winner at Trinners’ of their Entrance Exhibition Scholarship and who is now studying Pure Maths. As well, alongside Will, can be seen some St. Conleth’s ‘old boys’: Riccardo Rasini and Richard Sheahan, two more top academic performers! A high mark has certainly been set for the Class of 2024!
