London Called: We Answered!
7 March 2025The cultured but cosy confines of the understatedly named The Farmers’ Club was the site of our most recent Past Pupils Union foreign affair. We did London for our 75th (The Cavalry and Guards Club); New York for our 80th (The New York Athletic Club) returned to London a few weeks ago. The affable and kilted Sir Patrick Grant (Class of 1971) was the after dinner speaker and he well-entertained our small but gregarious gathering of Conlethian wild geese with tales of his time in school in the early 70s and of the history of the Grant family. Roll on New York in 2029!
