Humans of Higher Maths
4 March 2025Last week, our Sixth Years took time out of their busy schedule to compete in the Irish Maths Teachers’ Association Team Competition. All our teams performed well in the mind-wrecking, compass-bending event, with Yubo Wang and the rest of Team A leading the way, finishing fourth (really, tied for third) and Team B finishing sixth in a strong field of contenders. And Hugo Sweeney, the spiritual leader of Team C, made his mark on the dance-floor during the ‘Maths Disco’ that followed the competition.
