Ethos Action!
9 October 2023Our recent assembly and House Launch emphasised the Conlethian ethos… but do we practise what we preach? Our Religion Dept. certainly does! First Years recently enjoyed a reinvigoration of faith with An Tobar Nua. And Second and Third Years rowed in behind them, with open minds and spirits, enjoying retreats run by Net Ministries http://linktr.ee/netireland. Mr. Lonergan and Mr. Gallagher always choose retreats that have meaning for the wide spectrum of faith amongst our students. Mr. Lonergan has also arranged for TYs (on a volunteer basis) to take part each week in Alpha Training, an ecumenical Christian mission programme. The tea and biscuits (and the skill of the presenters) certainly help convey the message!
