Beach Boys!
19 December 2023The rain paused, the clouds parted and the sun actually shone as Mr. Smith and Mr. Lonergan escorted their Sixth Year Geography students down to Killiney Strand for their annual Field Study. In this country, too many of us retreat indoors post Halloween as the darkness descends and the nimbus clouds cluster… but not the Geo Beach Boys (and Girls)! And they benefit from their courage: not only did they measure their long-shot drift, quaff several 7€ macchiatos, go tombolo-hunting and discover a previously unknown seismic fault… they had a great day in the fresh breeze and company of friends!
