House Heaney Helps!
25 May 2025It is not just Mr. Baneham’s name, wardrobe and manners which make him seem like a character out of Dickens: it is also his Victorian morals… but in a good way! With Mr. Baneham it is all about charity: he’s charitable in his supportive comments to colleagues; charitable in his encouragement of the students (you should have seen him on TY Night!); and charitable in the essential sense of the word: care for those who need some help. So, well done everyone who took part in the Mr. Baneham-led Heaney House Bake Sale. There was a really impressive selection of baked delicacies for sale, some even worthy of Miss Havisham’s wedding banquet. The Heaneyers raised a grand total of €239.96 which will be divided between Arc Cancer Support Centres and Wellspring of Life. Congrats!
