Since 2002, St. Conleth’s has been able to continually invest in improvements in the school’s infrastructure, thanks to the generous contributions of parents. Education is changing more rapidly than at any time in the last century. As St. Conleth’s moves towards its centenary we wish to adapt our facilities to meet these changes.

How Will We Do It?
We are now asking our alumni to come together to support the school in making the coach house development a reality.
What We Need You To Do
We would ask every St. Conleth’s past pupil to consider if they would be able to contribute. If every past pupil contributes €41.60 a month, that would be €500 per year, and €2,500 over 5 years. If 20 people per class were to do this, it would be €50,000, and 20 class groups would equate to a 1-million-euro contribution.
Individual | Class Group | 20 Class Groups | |
Weekly | €9.60 | €192.30 | €3846.15 |
Monthly | €41.60 | €833.33 | €16,666.67 |
Year | €500.00 | €10,000.00 | €200,000.00 |
Tax refunded | €224.64 | €4,492.75 | €89,855.07.00 |
Total yearly donation | €7,24.64 | €14,492.75 | €289,855.07 |
Total over 5 years | €2,500.00 | €50,000.00 | €1,000,000.00 |
Total with tax back | €3,623.19 | €72,463.77 | €1,449,275.30 |
Tax Efficient Giving
Since January 2013, Irish charities have been able to claim back significant tax relief on donations under the Revenue’s Charitable Donations Scheme. Tax on donations over €250 may be claimed back at a blended rate of 31% if the donor is PAYE or self-employed. By completing a CHY3 form your donation can provide additional revenue to the Foundation at no extra cost to you. See table above for a breakdown of the Tax benefits of your donation.
